R&B Vocalist Audrey’s Latest Track Is So Smooth It’s Hypnotizing…
Today on Sensei’s Music Blog, we get to help highlight one of Korean-American R&B vocalist, Audrey’s latest releases called ‘Time’ and its accompanying visuals - a smooth vocal track that’ll entrance and mesmerize you that’s placed over a minimal but funky bassline production. The visual follows Audrey on a journey through the grimy streets of Hollywood, while having different interactions with would-be’s and faded stars. It is a dreamlike and abstract depiction of the timeless saying, ‘fake it will you make it.’ ‘Time’ was produced and co-written with manager/producer, Anwar Sawyer. The video was directed by Grammy-nominated director Emma Westenberg (‘PYNK’ by Janelle Monae).
Audrey explains, “’Time’ is a foster home for imaginary kids or people – a holding place for souls that went through life procrastinating and holding out on their dreams.” She adds, “I want to see female artists lead creatively, so working with Emma was such a privilege.”
Lastly, if you’re diggin’ what Audrey is up to - make sure you throw her a follow on her social media links and stay up to date with her work as it drops.
